Wine Tasting

Hosted with Alistair Gibson, Hermitage Cellars, Emsworth.

Lawrence creates menus to complement a wonderful selection of wines (country/regions change) to taste and enjoy. Our last wine tasting event supported our local “Tuppenny Barn Organic Farm” raising monies for the building of their Educational Centre and was held during Nov 2011.

Our next wine tasting event will be held in May 2012 and September 2012.

Charity

A big thank you for all your continued support.

We have now raised £7534.60 for local charities including the Hospices, Rowans, St Wilfrids, Sussex Snowdrop and also our local organic farm “Tuppenny Barn” through hosting Cookery Workshops, sponsored sports events and our raffle in the earlier part of 2011.

 Our last event was held in January 2012.

Cookery Workshops
(in aid of local charities )

Our cookery workshops are always a popular event.  We have hosted these workshops for several years and are always met with lots of enthusiasm and fun from all who participate.  Our last event was held in January 2012. Six participants learnt to prepare, cook and serve: Sea Bream, Saffron Mussel Rissotto, Roasted Fennel.  At Lunchtime a guest joined them to sample their culinary delights.  In total the day raised £330.00 to once again assist “Tuppenny Barn Organic Farm” to build their Educational Centre.

 Our next Cookery Workshop will be held in November 2012.
